Midwife will perform the following tasks: - Introducing a PVC + care for PVC - Providing intravenous therapy - Checking operation wound - Changing dressing - Ward round assistance - Performing hygiene for a patient on a bed - Assisting in patient hygiene - Assisting the patient with getting out of the bed - Assistance in transfusion therapy - Checking liquid intake/output, drainage waste - Checking physiological functions - Ensuring supplementary examinations (sampling of biological material, ultrasound examinations, counselling ...) - Assistance in additional individual examinations - Patient admission and transfer

The aim of the practical training is to prepare a midwife for the practice of providing a highly specialized nursing care in midwifery to women after a caesarean section and woman after a gynaecological operation.
Upon completion of the course students will be able to provide a highly specialized care in midwifery to women after caesarean section and after gynaecological surgery. |
