Course content
Students complete professional practice in midwifery in the areas of care for women, mothers and children (operating gynecology department, high-risk pregnancy department, intermediate gynecological care department, gynecological operating room, puerperium department) The care of clients and their children/newborns is carried out by students according to the principles of the nursing process and the latest knowledge in the field of nursing and according to the principles of evidence-based practice (EBN, EBP, EBM)

Learning outcomes
Professional nursing practice in gynecology and obstetrics is part of the children's nurse study program. It allows students to apply the theoretical knowledge and practical skills they have acquired through the study of theoretical and theoretical-practical study disciplines in the theoretical and practical classrooms in the conditions of clinical healthcare workplaces. It provides space for improving skills, skills and habits, communication skills, teaches students independence, responsibility and work in a team of health professionals. Teaching takes place under the guidance of a tutor and mentor of professional practice - midwives, children's nurses, general nurses.
The student will be able to: -use the 3N alliance in providing individualized care for women in clinical conditions and diseases that are related to disorders and diseases of the reproductive organs in different age periods of a woman's life and that disrupt a woman's health and quality of life -use the 3 N alliance when providing individualized care for a woman during pregnancy, during childbirth and after childbirth - provide care according to the latest knowledge in nursing with regard to the use of EBP -apply an ethical and psychological approach to the woman and her family - to communicate effectively with the woman, the mother and her companion - work independently and in the team of the given department

100% participation in professional clinical practice. In case of absence, it is necessary to complete the services on an alternative date by agreement. Submission of a seminar paper, a case from practice and a nursing plan according to the classification Alience 3N on 5 - 10 standard pages.
