Course content
Prerequisites of Personality Psychology Subject of personality psychology (structure, dynamics, development) Research strategy of the discipline (nomothetic vs. idiographic approach) Sources of personality formation and development. Temperament Character The concept of Self Personality disposition, values, attitudes, prejudices Motives and motivation Emotions and personality Frustration, conflict, anxiety Personality dissorders

Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
  • Preparation for the Exam - 40 hours per semester

Learning outcomes
To introduce students to the problems of personality psychology. Analysis of basic concepts of personality psychology (dynamics, structure, temperament, motivation, theoretical directions, etc.)
The course focuses on the ability to understand and evaluate personality traits and expressions. Evaluate specific methods and procedures of personality research. Explain individual aspects of personality, its origin and development. Formulate conclusions

General Psychology, History of Psychology, Cultural Anthropology

Oral exam, Written exam, Seminar Work
