Course content
Send project topics to Dr. Dolejš after pre-registering for the course in STAG. Presentations will last 45 minutes (depending on the number of students registered, possibly two projects the commercial and the master's thesis). Presentations will last 20-30 minutes. The PowerPoint presentation must contain: the title of the project; research goals and hypotheses, the research question; research methodology quantitative and qualitative psychological diagnostic tools; study population and sample a description; statistics, technical data processing; the financial costs for carrying out the project timetable; research ethics; possible risks of problems during the study and their potential solutions; conclusions and results from the research project; bibliography.

Learning outcomes
The subject will enable students the see the implementation of research projects. It will broaden the horizons of possible obstacles in research projects and understand the elements that are an important but often underestimated aspect of research projects. The course provides space for discussing the weaknesses and strengths of projects. It will provide students with feedback on how it is possible to implement some research stages and activities differently. The subject will enable students to get an insight into the research project which they want to implement in their master's thesis.
Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methodology methods, design, research phases, data processing, etc.
Prerequisites
The creation of two presentations: a) Presentation of the research project for your master's thesis work; b) presentation of a commercial study. Presentations will last 30-40 minutes. The PowerPoint presentation must contain: the title of the project; research goals and hypotheses, the research question; research methodology quantitative and qualitative psychological diagnostic tools; study population and sample a description; statistics, technical data processing; the financial costs for carrying out the project timetable; research ethics; possible risks of problems during the study and their potential solutions; conclusions and results from the research project; bibliography. Pre-requisites for this course include the completion of one methodological subject (A level course . Course dates are: 22/09 introduction lecture by Dr. Dolejš, information about the course, sample of projects; 29/09 free study, preparation of projects; 06/10 beginning of presentations ( at least one presentation).

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Dialog

Student requirements: a) 80% participation in lectures; b) preparation of documents and PowerPoint presentations: a) a plan for the individual research project, and b) a plan for their master's research project (a study for thesis work); c) to present in front of their peers 45 minutes; during the lecture the student will have two presentations a commercial project and their master's project; d) giving a presentation in a PDF format. Topics for the commercial projects will be addressed at the first lecture.
