Course content
Program of the two day long course: - Good foundation of the project, assigning primary documents (texts, audio-video, articles ...) - Open coding and restructuring codes, work on Grounded - Axial coding, finding relationships, demonstration of work with Density and networks - Selective coding, creation of a theory, demonstration of advanced (search) tools

Learning outcomes
The course is held for anyone who wants to get a head start with understanding the concepts and functions of the program for qualitative data analysis software ATLAS.ti. In this course, the instructor gives an overview of ATLAS.ti and demonstrates how to start a project, the basics of coding, and the basics of data exploration and analysis. Place: Department of psychology, Faculty of Arts, Vodární 6, Olomouc Room: 203 Date: Friday 9th of December 2022 from 9:00 to 15:00 (break for lunch included) Bring your notebook with you and please try to install the trial version of the program from: http://atlasti.com/free-trial-version/

Prerequisites
Knowledge of basics of qualitative approach to data analysis. Advanced skills with programs such as Excel, Word, etc.
