Course content
Main topics of the course: -Concept, organization and methodology of the educational process for children in the hospital. Prerequisites for creating educational programs. Educational methods and resources. Game specialist - (overview of activities, competencies, code of ethics). -Methodology of educational care - physical, work, music, aesthetic, artistic, intellectual and moral - peculiarities of the approach in the education of children in different periods of life. -Characteristics of children's games. Classification of children's games. Game as an educational tool. Division of games. Development of creative children's games. -Didactic aids - methodology of use, requirements for hygienic, spatial and material equipment. -Special education. A child with a specific need. Principles of special education. Methods of special education for children with sensory disabilities, physical disabilities, mental disabilities. -Didactic aids - methodology of using audio-visual aids in individual age categories. -Toy - its meaning, making simple puppets -Methodology of music education - practical exercises -Methodology of movement games - practical exercises -Methodology of art education - practical exercises -Methodology of work education - practical exercises -Methodology of intellectual education - practical exercises

Learning outcomes
The course provides a comprehensive set of information that will allow a comprehensive view of the child's personality in a particular period of development, will allow to choose a suitable educational approach to children with regard to their age and health. It expands knowledge, leads to the acquisition of practical skills in the application of educational care in hospital facilities.
After completing the course, the student will be able to apply the acquired knowledge, knowledge and experience in clinical practice in the implementation of educational care for children.
