Course content
Students will acquire the knowledge and alternatives of procedures of individual nursing: enteral and parenteral administration of drugs, injections, intravenous approaches, intravenous administration of injections and infusions, transfusions, handling with drugs, taking biological samples for examination and nursing care before, during, and after invasive performance.

Learning outcomes
Students will acquire knowledge and alternatives of procedures of individual nursing interventions with regard to actual condition of the child. The main emphasis is placed on adherence to the procedures of interventions being carried out in accordance with the latest scientific knowledge and technology advancement, in accordance with the principles of the nursing process and the holistic concept of nursing care.
Students will be able to carry out procedures of nursing interventions with individual and situational variability corresponding with the latest trends. Students will be able to take care of safe environment and tools that are desirable for the execution of nursing process.

Attendance in seminars and practical exercises, demostration and solution of given problem, verification of theoretical knowledge. Attendance in practical exercises at 100 %.
