Course content
Familiarise with advance laboratory methods of organic syntesis - lecture 5 x 3 hours Preparations: Preparation of Allobetuline (column chromatography) Preparation of Allobetulone (preparative TLC) Preparation of 3-phenylpropanoic acid (hydrogenation in autoclave under pressure) Preparation of 3-nitroacetophenone (spectral identification of products) Preparation of 4-methylsulfanylbenzoic acid (working in dry conditions) Preparation of (R,S)-1-phenylethanol (fractional vacuum distillation) Preparation of Salicylaldehyde (distillation in micro scale) Preparation of ethyl-3-phenylpropynoáe (vacuum distillation on micro evaporator)
