Course content
The content of the seminar will be a series of presentations focused on the modern aspects of bioorganic chemistry and chemical biology. Quick introduction to drug delivery systems Synthetic oligonucleotides and their therapeutic applications How much Hof(f)man(n)s is actually in organic chemistry? Pd catalysed C-C cross-coupling Combinatorial chemistry Lupane and elean terpenoids with antitumor activity Industry, pharmacy, education Retrosyntical analysis Photochemistry and its practical use Search for new drugs Fluorescent chemistry

The seminar introduce students into practical aspects of modern bioorganic chemistry and chemical biology and research projects at the Department of Organic Chemistry.
