Course content
Training of practical skills of students in the spectacle correction of hyperopia regulation, myopia, astigmatism, presbyopia, anisometropia, aphakia and prismatic correction clients. Indications and application of the principles of soft and hard contact lenses, wear regimes. The principle of correction in terms of ophthalmology, prescription correction in patients with refractive defect without any other eye disease, but also in combination with eye and general diseases, special aids. The practical tutorials (demonstrations and training) are realized in the real situations at the clinical ophthalmological ambulances and wards of the Eye Clinics with the modern equipment. Practical training is based on the knowledge and practical skills obtained in the subjects Vision Correction 1 and 2.

Learning outcomes
Practicing of prescribing vision correction with spectacle lenses, application of contact lenses and special optical aids with regard to other eye and general diseases.
Students are capable of independent prescribing eye glasses, special optical aids and contact lenses.
Prerequisites
Completed secondary education.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

In the frame of the practical part of the final exam is required to determine the correct visa, objective and subjective refraction and best design suitable compensation client with regard to the health of the patient.
