Learning outcomes
To obtain additional information on medical microbiology, in particular the recent knowledge of the most important infectious agents, their detection, including genetic detection, and correct interpretation of laboratory results. To become familiar with detailed approach to antibiotic therapy of particular infections with both common and newer antibiotics. To extend knowledge necessary for the future medical practice.
The students will be able to implement the acquired knowledge in the diagnostic and therapeutic approach to patients.
