Course content
Study support: https://www.centruminovacipdf.upol.cz/podnikavost/web/ Detailed annotation of the course: 1. Introduction to entrepreneurship education, reasons for education for entrepreneurship, initiative and creativity. Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial spirit. Roles and reasons for motivation for future independent entrepreneurship. Examples of good practice of entrepreneurship education in the Czech Republic and abroad. Legislative framework and limits of implementation of entrepreneurship education in the Czech Republic. 2. Entrepreneurship education in strategic and curriculum materials EU strategic documents (Oslo Agenda, Entrepreneurship Action Plan 2020, etc.). Strategic documents of the Czech Republic. Junior Achievement Strategy. 3. Entrepreneurial competences and their testing Concept of entrepreneurial competences in the context of personality and external environment. Determination of personality traits vs. acquired competences. Model of potential of entrepreneurial competence. Attitudinal competencies. Behavioral competencies. Managerial competencies. Soft skills (communication skills, presentation skills, teamwork) in relation to entrepreneurship. Testing tools for entrepreneurial competences. 4. Methods of developing entrepreneurship, creativity and initiative Project methods for the development of entrepreneurship, creativity and initiative: a) Development of communication and presentation skills b) Junior Achievement methodology (starting a business, business management, marketing and communication, sales, feedback) c) Methods and forms of implementing entrepreneurship clubs, fictitious companies and student mini-enterprises d) Development of financial literacy (Junior Achievement simulation JA money, business plan, simulation of life situations) e) Teamwork and didactic games to promote the development of cooperation

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the issues of entrepreneurship, creativity and initiative. Students will gain an overview of the topic of developing their own entrepreneurship, creativity and initiative and will gain practical competences needed to start an independent business or develop their own projects, creative solutions and innovative activities in the their job (employment). The training is carried out in cooperation with experienced experts (active entrepreneurs).
