The course is designed to continuously develop teaching competencies (K1-K6: planning, methodology of working with text, diagnostics/evaluation, communication, reflection, professional sharing). Basic principle of organization: you work with one selected book throughout the semester (main text for the portfolio + seminar paper) ongoing assignments are linked to a weekly phenomenon/genre and form the content of the portfolio; this is not "extra work," but rather a building block for the seminar paper
After completing the course, the student will be able to: evaluate development trends in contemporary Czech and world literature for children and young people; analyze and interpret selected contemporary texts in a broader literary and cultural context; assess the quality and value potential of contemporary literary production, including translation; take into account the didactic potential of current literary works with regard to the objectives of the RVP ZV; reflect on the differences between literary texts and their film adaptations; orient themselves in professional reflection and current critical discourses; use available information sources for their own research or pedagogical work. |
