Course content
1. Construction of RVP ZV with emphasis on the 1st stage of primary school and educational area languages ??and communication. 2. Performance, application and implementation of teaching methods that develop self- reliance, creativity, self-knowledge, self-confidence, cooperation, responsibility and critical thinking (focusing on language teaching and grammar)in students. 3. The system of language exercises and their use in motivating pupils. 4. Possibilities of integration of educational areas and cross-cutting issues in language teaching. 5. Methodological support for teachers in language teaching.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Demonstration, Projection (static, dynamic)

Learning outcomes
Seminars are focused on the motivation of students in the language teaching of the Czech language and literature. Students will gain experience in using the activation methods and forms in various stages of teaching and acquire a number of traditional exercises (such as the use of versatile language analysis) to such methods as RWCT (critical thinking). They will also review the methodological supports for teachers.
The student is able to understand the structure of RVPZV(focused on 1st stage of primary school). He/she gets an overview of the educational areas and cross-cutting issues in each period. He knows the layout of the objectives and curriculum in the educational area language and communication. He/she can present the selected language curriculum (especially by induction), and motivate students. He/she uses a different activation methods and forms of worker at different stages of learning. He/she is familiar with the language exercises and is able to actively use and create them. He/she gets an overview of the methodological literature of the course, actively uses other methodological support (methodological portals and other tools, such as Kafomet etc.).
Prerequisites
The course is designed for advanced students of teaching at 1st stage of primary school. The assumption is therefore passing didactically oriented subjects (general didactics and pedagogy).

Assessment methods and criteria
Dialog, Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio, Seminar Work

Active participation in seminars, continuous performance tasks, submission of student portfolios. Selected tasks: Understand the structure RVP ZV (for the 1st stage).                 Analysis of specific ŠVP focusing on education in languages ??and communication and                 language matter.                 Preparation of the Czech lessons (presentations of selected language matter with                 using some activation methods (eg RWCT).                 Creating own three activation exercises in language teaching.                 Creating own methodical file (bookshelf) for teaching Czech language at 1st stage of                 primary school (publications, portals, etc. on this topic).
