Course content
Getting acquainted with the development of opinions on teaching the art education within the history of Czech art pedagogy. Analysis of developmental phases of the children's art expression and its attributes. Position of the art education within the Frame educational programme for primary schools. Contemporary educational trends regarding the art education and their representatives. Theme in the art education, art lines and projects. Kinds and organization of creative activities.

Learning outcomes
Getting acquainted with the concept, principles and objectives of art education at primary schools, development of opinions on teaching art education within the history of Czech creative pedagogy, developmental phases and attributes of the children's expression mean.
Artistically mastered basic teaching skills useful in teaching art education at the 1st elementary school.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of educational terminology, interest in the field.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work

Seminar work: Research into educational reality of the educational field of art education - Pre-designed questionnaire to submit student teachers in practice and process the data in tabular form frequency. Results obtained by questionnaire and interview potential teachers summarize in a short conclusion. Seminar work is preparation for the thesis (master basic methodologies of the research).
