Course content
The museum and the art gallery as the institutions of the cultural heritage. The types of museums and galleries, their structure and classification. The educational and edifying funktions of museums and galleries.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Work Activities, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Attendace - 4 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 20 hours per semester
  • Excursion - 16 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 30 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The students should be able to characterize the museums and art galleries in the Czech republic, they should be able to describe the methodic processes in utilization this institutions in the leisure-time education and prepare projects in cooperation with museums and galleries.
Acquired knowledge of future teachers to employ purposeful collaboration with museum institutions and their potential use in teaching.
Prerequisites
Interest in the field, basic knowledge of education.

Oral exam, Student performance

Characteristic of one exposition ofg a museum and its didactical and methodical analysys with orientation to a group of youth or childern.
