Course content
Students get to work with basic drawing materials and graphic techniques. They experience advantages and disadvantages of their usage in practice and extend knowledge of contemporary trends, styles and distinguished personalities of the Czech and world drawings and graphics through their own presentations.

Lecture, Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Demonstration, Grafic and Art Activities
  • Homework for Teaching - 15 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 19 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 26 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Getting acquainted with drawing techniques and explorative procedures, testing expression possibilities of graphic tracks caused by various drawing tools and materials. Deepening the student's creative feeling, thinking and drawing skills through realistic and imaginative drawing practice. Students get acquainted with graphic expression means in the form of practical training as regards selected graphic techniques applicable within the school practice.
After completing the course the student will be able to use basic techniques and materials relating to the drawings and graphics. He should know some important personalities of Czech and international art scene in these disciplines and the specifics of both artistic expression.
Prerequisites
The premise for study this subject is an interest and the will to develope own ability thrue studium and than in work experience.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Student performance

Participation in seminars at least 80%, presentation of theoretical work, submission of the complete creative work collection (schoolwork as well as homework).
