Course content
1. Subject didactics and scientific basis of art education. Concept and objectives of the current R & D at 1st level School, current flows in the VV. 2. General educational program, educational characteristics of the Arts and Culture, the educational field of Art Education. 3. Significant figures in the history of drawing and VV especially in our countries. Evaluation of views on teaching drawing and VV from antiquity to the present. 4. The origin, development and characteristics of children's artistic expression (DVP). 5. Visual typology and its application in educational practice. 6. Special features of aesthetic perception and assessment of children (the 1st level in school) school age. The role of psychological processes in art activities. 7. Creativity in VV. Phase of the creative process, stages of child creativity. DVP crisis prevention. The principles of creative teaching VV. Diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities of art activities aftefiletics, art therapy. 8. Construction of basic and special types of lessons VV. Planning and preparing teaching VV. Project method in VV, art series, their types. 9. Types and organization of artistic activities in the VV. Binding objectives, subject matter and teaching task in VV. The importance of motivation in VV. 10. Applying teaching principles and methods in VV. Forms and methods of communication with the work of art. Animation. 11. The issue of assessment in VV. The importance of feedback. Classification. 12. Materials and Techniques in Art Education.

Learning outcomes

Artistically mastered basic teaching skills useful in teaching art education at the 1st elementary school.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of educational terminology, interest in the field.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work

Students receive credit for submitting essay on the selection of these topics: 1. Research into educational reality of the educational field of art education - Pre-designed questionnaire to submit student teachers in practice and process the data in tabular form frequency. Results obtained by questionnaire and interview potential teachers summarize in a short conclusion. Seminar work is preparation for the thesis (master basic methodologies of the research). 2. Analysis of children's artistic expression - The student selects three children work (drawing, painting and another, any) and an analysis of this particular child's artistic expression (characteristics, development patterns, attributes, etc.) - Recommended to analyze the views of human or animal figures Note: Seminar work will also include all the formal requirements, such as a home page with the heading and title of work, introduction of literature, proper marking event. citations, level of language and graphics, etc.
