Course content
The aim is to familiarize students with the issue of the interpretation of and making art and other types of museum collections (artifacts, mentefacts and naturfacts) accessible. Through hands-on activities, the discipline is a creative process, or an expressive interpretation of the collection objects, focused on finding original ways to communicate with them. During class various forms and methods of making museum pieces accessible will be presented, which are usable not only during the implementation of the educational program of museums and galleries, but also in the normal educational process in schools. Attention will also be paid? to interpretation? as well as the reflection of contemporary theories of interpretation in the work of museum educators. The discipline cultivates students' ability to understand museum collection items and find suitable ways of their interpretation, accessible to the widest range of visitor groups. Implementation of a number of practical variations to develop the teaching competencies of graduates and focus on their ability to sample application methods and procedures into their own practice. Basic topics: Interpretation of museum pieces Creative, expressive interpretation Methods of interpretation Reflection of contemporary theories of interpretation in education

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should be able to: - Clarify the concept of interpretation and critically evaluate possible approaches to art - Explain the difference between expository and expressive interpretation - Actively use methods of expressive interpretation - Interpret a work of art alone and apply knowledge about it in their own educational activities - Discuss issues of interpretation and the limits of this process

Basic knowledge of educational issues, interest in the field.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Dialog, Seminar Work
