Course content
The discipline focuses on the learning aspects of museum education, but also deals with the philosophy of museum education, the general and specific objectives of education at the museum and its particularities. In addition to the theoretical definition of museum education in a museological and educational context, the discipline focuses on the practical aspects of museum education, such as the design and planning of museum education, including the preparation of the educational program. This specific type of education, tied to museum collections, is conceived as a process consisting of many components. These, in line with general didactics, are ranked as educational objectives, content, methods, organizational forms and teaching resources. The aim is to clarify these components thoroughly, both theoretically and with practical examples from practice, in order for graduates to be capable of comprehensive pedagogical thinking and acting (in terms of the theory of L.S. Shulman). Basic topics: Museum education Components of museum education (Educational objectives, content, methods, organizational forms and teaching resources) Planning and preparation of educational programs Comprehensive pedagogical thinking and acting ?
