Learning outcomes
The cycle of lectures introduce selected chapters from the ancient art, questions of its reception and interpretation. It points out the most significant masterpieces of antique architecture, sculpture, painting and handicraft production.
Students are able to underestand the development of ancient art, to characterize important works of art and compare eastern and European cultures.

Get the ability to perceive the context of historical developments in a broader cross-links
