Course content
Topics: Basic traditions and development of Czech and Czechoslovak statehood. Motherland and patriotism. Holidays, symbols and important days. Important personalities of Czech history. Municipality, region, region.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Homework for Teaching - 26 hours per semester

  • Attendace - 13 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
"At the end of the course, students - future teachers of citizenship education and social sciences - will be able to: ""orientate in basic terms related to national and national identity, ""to identify and briefly characterize the most important traditions and development of Czech statehood, ""describe the state symbols of the Czech Republic and explain their historical genesis, ""to list public holidays and important days of the Czech Republic and clarify their origin."

Student performance

Participation in seminars, creation of seminar work and its presentation in seminars, self-study and preparation for credit.
