Course content
The beginnings of European cooperation after World War 2. The beginnings of European integration - the Schuman Plan and the ECSC second phase of European integration from 1955 to 1959. European integration in the 70s of the 20th century. On the way to the European Union in 1985 - 1993. The problems of the EU in the 90s of the 20th century. The enlargement process of the European Union. The European Union today.

Learning activities and teaching methods

Learning outcomes
Attention is paid to the important milestone of integration processes after the second world war and the establishment evropanských institutions and organizations such as the Council of Europe, the European Community, the European Free Trade Association. Emphasis is also put on events in the European Union and the current problems and prospects of European integration.
