Course content
History and motives of European integration before World War II.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Homework for Teaching - 6 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 13 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 8 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Development of European thinking from 13th century till 20th century. Majors European thinkers (with the emphasis on Czech thinkers). Paneurope - effort for European unification till the Second World War.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio

Undergo written test with open and closed questions and correctly answer at least 75% of the questions.
