Course content
Specifics of writing works in social sciences. Work with literature and sources, on-line databases. Relevance of resources. Formulation of goals of professional work in humanities. Design of work structure and choice of methods. Ways of citations. Specifics of methodology of individual humanities.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students - future teachers of civics and social science basics - with the principles of seminar and qualification work with regard to the specifics of social sciences and pedagogy. Students will also gain an overview and awareness of the standards that must be respected when creating a scientific text. The space will also be devoted to the issue of plagiarism and copyright protection. At the end of the course students should be able to: - be familiar with international scientific databases and current methodological literature, - to critically assess the relevance of individual sources for the development of professional work, - to propose the concept of professional work both formally and in terms of content, - formulate their own concepts and opinions in a professional language, - to orientate in current methodology of humanities and to choose a suitable method for own professional work.
