Characteristics VMEGS topic. The roots of European civilization. Key milestones in European history. Famous Europeans. European integration. Europe and our country. Europe and the world. Our neighbors in Europe - the lifestyle, traditions, peoples and cultural diversity. The dimensions of globality. Global problems of mankind. Projects and methods for global education.

Learning outcomes
|
After completing the course, students will be able to: - Explain the influence of European culture in contemporary educational reality - Analyze the general implications of key events in European history, - Understand and explain the European integration process, - Characterize globalization as a modern phenomenon affecting human thought and action, - Interpret the cultural differences of other European nations.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio
During the semester, students develop a set of sub-tasks that will reflect the various topics discussed in the context of contact teaching with an emphasis on education and the educational system. Completion of tasks will be monitored by the teacher via e-mail.
