Course content
Globalization and its causes. Course of globalization and important global problems including possibilities of their solution. Negative and positive impacts of globalization. Forms and forms of international cooperation, its reasons, importance and advantages. International organizations and communities - history and present. International organizations and education. Important international organizations and their mission. Use and application of the topic in the curriculum at primary schools.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students - future teachers of civics and social sciences - with aspects related to globalization processes on the one hand and forms and forms of international cooperation between states on the other, at elementary and high school. At the end of the course students should be able to: - clarify the causes of globalization, including their positive and negative effects, - to characterize the most important global problems related to terrorism, conflicts, the economic sphere,   environment (global climate and its transformations) and possible alternatives to their solution, to characterize and describe the forms and forms of international cooperation (including cooperation on education) at  political, economic, security, - analyze the process of globalization and the concrete impacts of international cooperation, including in terms of the possibility of incorporating the topics into the curriculum at primary school (terminology, key terms, clarification of the broader context of the issue).
Interpretation and framework analysis of the functioning of international relations and the role of selected subjects of international politics, including the ability of their application in the curriculum of citizenship education and social sciences at primary and secondary school.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledges of the field of political science, political geography and contemporary history in the scope of secondary school curriculum

Active participation in seminars, elaboration of semestral work, self-study and preparation of materials for credit.
