Course content
Development of constitutionalism and political system during the first Czechoslovak Republic. Constitutional development in 1945-1948. Constitutional development in 1968. The Constitution of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic's new constitution.

Learning outcomes
In this course will be introduced to the basic issues and problems that affect the constitutional development of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic from 1918 to the present. Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work

Following the lessons, students will be required to study literature and methodical materials, which are known in detail the fundamental questions that relate to issues of political and constitutional development of the First Republic, including the period 1945-1948. Attention will also be paid to the constitutional development after 1948 and after 1989. Emphasis will be placed on knowledge of the Constitution of the Republic. In addition, the analysis will be awarded to selected documents related to the constitutional development of the Czech lands. The condition for the granting of credit will be seminar work on selected topics within the scope of the seven parties.
