Course content
Comparative analysis system. Presidential systems. Semipresidential systems. Parliamentary systems. Transitions to democracy. Non-democratic systems. The political system of the country.

Learning outcomes
The lectures are devoted to the issue of comparison of political systems. After a theoretical introduction will be followed by an analysis of systems of presidential, parliamentary and semi-presidential. Characteristics of basic individual characters systems will be supplemented by examples of specific national political systems. Attention will be paid to the issue of transition to democracy, which is necessary for understanding the process of building democracy eg. In the former Soviet sphere of influence. Party Furthermore, it will undemocratic systems, especially contemporary forms of totalitarian and authoritarian systems. Seminars are devoted to the issue of political systems based on studies of primary and secondary literature. Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Seminar Work

Self-assigned study materials (literature) in the range of 18 hours. The condition for granting credit is drafting essay on an assigned topic. Orientation problems will be verified by means testing.
