Course content
Ethics as a discipline (subject, methodology, objectives, fundamental ethical discipline). Ethics and morality (the relationship and differences). Conscience conception of the soul. Ethical virtues (meaning, historical parallels and changes over time). Happiness and goodness (ethical realism). Freedom and responsibility. Norms and values in society, defining your own values. Justice. Categorical imperative. Reason and emotion in practical ethics. The materialist conception of ethics.

Learning outcomes
In this course will be introduced the systematic interpretation of ethics and the main ethical categories. Emphasis will also be placed on linking knowledge with some other social science disciplines (especially philosophy) and the application of theoretical knowledge to practical situations. After completing the course, students should be able to: - Define basic ethical terms, - Clarify the differences in the various concepts of ethical approaches, - Explain the principles of individual ethical concepts, - Enumerate and specify examples of ethical behavior, - Apply theoretical knowledge in practical ethical life.
Application of theoretical postulates of ethical practice.
Prerequisites
Initial assumption is the orientation of students in technical literature and knowledge of basal terminology.
