Personality and works of T.G. Masaryk, J. A. Komenský, culture and history of Great Moravia

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture
  • Excursion - 10 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The national history field trip is aimed at getting to know the region of Moravia. Option a) covers e.g.: the town of Uherský Brod - J.A.Comenius Museum, Staré Město near Uherské Hradiště - Grand Moravia Memorial, Hodonín - T.G.Masaryk Museum. Option b) covers e.g.: Boskovice Chateau and the Jewish Quarter, Kunštát, Žďár n.Sázavou - The Book Museum and the Pilgrimage Church of Saint John of Nepomuk at Zelena Hora ( a UNESCO World Heritage site).
Ability to organizationally and professionally secure excursion with historical themes.
Prerequisites
General cultural and historical awareness.
