Course content
1. Middle Ages and the period of late feudalism till 1848. 2. The period of Austrian Monarchy after 1848. 3. The period of Interwar Republic and the Protectorate. 4. The post-war years and the communist dictatorship period. 5. State administration after 1989.

Learning outcomes
The subject gives coherent information of the system of public administration and its development from the beginning of the state up to the present time. Discussed topics: 1. Middle Ages and the period of late feudalism till 1848. 2. The period of Austrian monarchy after 1848. 3. The period of the interwar Republic and the Protectorate. 4. The postwar and the communist dictatorship period. 5. State administration after 1989.
No prior requirements.
Prerequisites
Orientation topics in public administration.

Seminar Work

100% active participation in the seminar, presentation of a seminar thesis on a selected topic
