Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide a basic frame of the modern sport development throughout the history and introduce students into history of chosen sport events as a follow up to sports/subjects of their obligatory study program. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
Students are well informed about the development of modern sport in general and about the particular sport events which they meet during their studies as obligatory subjects.

Credit requirements: - Active participation in classes - Presentation of the specified topic (topic selection at the first lesson) Written test (after credit is awarded)
