Learning outcomes
The goal of the discipline is to introduce students to the study of sociology. The students will learn about the relation between modern society and sociology. They will learn in what aspects the modern society differs from the traditional society and how the modernization of modern society is reflected in sociology. The students will learn the difference between sociology and common sense; what sociology is; what crucial issues and questions it deals with. The students will be introduced to some applications of sociology to the field of personal management.
