Course content
1. The learning society. Historical, cultural, economic and political context in a learning society. The importance and role of education. Current knowledge of informational, educational, or learning societies in andragogy, pedagogy, sociology and economic sciences. 2. Education in a learning society. Globalization and education. Technological, demographic development and changes in the labor market. New curriculum, qualifications and competences. 3. Man in a learning society. Individualized and personalized education. Alternative education, deschooling, edupunk, edutainment and gamification. 4. Organizational learning. Individual, group, organizational and inter-organizational learning. 5. Organizational learning process. Creation, transfer and preservation of knowledge in the organization. 6. The learning organization. Knowledge economy and knowledge management. Integration of education into work processes. ERP systems, swarming and networking in organizations. 7. Organizational behavior. Interpersonal and group processes in the organization. Organizational environment and processes. 8. Knowledge management, intellectual capital of the organization. Diffusion of innovations in the organization. 9. Learning communities and collaborative learning. Models of learning communities, online communities and virtual worlds. Examples of good practice. 10. The course Organizational learning is designed with the aim of teaching students to apply in educational practice innovative trends and concepts developing a learning society and a learning organization. In the same way, the emphasis is placed on the development of knowledge and the use of knowledge management procedures, educational and information technologies in the processes of preparation and implementation of educational activities in organizations.
