Course content
Active 6 weeks participation in the internship. Observing and assisting for one week at the university physical activity and wellness related programs Five weeks work in two different placements at the university physical activity and wellness related programs Self-reflective internship diary.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to provide in depth practical experiences and gain related competencies in work in prescription of physical activity, leading physical activity wellness programs for persons across the lifespan and evaluating these activities at the university physical activity and wellness related programs.
Understanding the central concepts, tools and structure of physical education, and creation of learning experiences, collaboration, and supportive interaction in the classroom. Use a variety of instructional strategies, including the use of technology, to encourage students' development of critical thinking and problem solving. Basic knowledge about physical activity and environmental assessment tools.

Any special, just to be interested in the content of the course.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

Students are expected to attend class; no more than 3 absences in lectures and 3 absences in seminars are allowed to pass the course. There will be practice exam during the course and final exam. Students will have to prepare one Issue on the selected topic and one PowerPoint presentation. Part of the course will be practical experience.
