Learning outcomes
Student will be introduced to up-to-date approaches to implementing the principles of sustainable development in outdoor organizations' risk management. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
1. Student will recognize the fundamental connections between sustainable development and managing risks. 2. He or she will learn how to identify the main areas of management with possible impact on long-term sustainable development. 3. The student will implement the practical knowledge in planning, administration and evaluation of the expedition project.
Prerequisites
In order to meet the course requirements, prior completion of the courses BEST of KBEST is recommended. If not relevant, it is necessary to individually study chapters 1 - 4 from the shared BEST/KBEST and BSTL/KBSTL e-learning supports.

Written exam, Student performance

1. Active participation in seminars 2. Completion of the e-learning seminar assignments 3. Successful completion of on-line test 4. Outline, execution and evaluation of a risk management plan for the expedition project.
