Learning outcomes
Students will understand and acquaint themselves with approaches the most important contemporary streams of pedagogical thinking. Students will also acquaint themselves with the aims, reflections about the teachers´ role, the position of the pupil in the educational process and socio-cultural importance of education in contemporary educational theories.
Students will be provided with competencies that will get to the content and objectives of the course.
Prerequisites
General orientation in education and general didactics.

Credit Requirements: 1. Students must attend 11 of the 12 lessons. 2. Students must earn a passing score on their final paper. List of Course Assessments: 1. Lesson Attendance & Participation 2. Comprehensive Final Paper o Submit a 3-4 double-spaced paper explaining your personal learning theory. . Directions: Reflecting on the aims, teacher?fs role and position of the pupils, what is your personal theory of learning? Use knowledge gained from the theories shared in our lessons, as well as the information applied to the theories from Todd Whitker?fs text to explain your personal view of learning.
