Course content
The subject focuses on important historical eras of Czech national history. Students master knowledge and skills primarily through project instruction. The approach of the subject emphasizes the new school reform and prepares students for methods of work defined by this reform. The instruction is realized in 4 comprehensive blocks: 1. National history in prehistory and antiquity. 2. National history in Medieval Ages. 3. National history in modern times. 4. National history in modern history.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Homework for Teaching - 10 hours per semester

Learning outcomes
Key events in the Czech history. Geography development. National structure, tradition, famous personalities, symbols of citizenship.
Students are able to understand the problems of teaching national history
