Course content
|
To acquire principles of teaching children about natural products and natural phenomena: - possibilities for observation, experimentation and manipulation with natural products - the use of activating methods, forms and strategies in the constructivist concept of education - inquiry-based education, project education, integrated thematic instruction, factual texts analyses using RWCT methods, activity and experiential learning, etc. Use the potential of professional learning and peer cooperation in the preparation, implementation, reflection and evaluation of science teaching. 1. Physico-chemical and meteorological part of natural science 2. Mineralogical, petrographic and pedological part of natural science 3. Botanical part of natural science 4. Zoological part of science 5. Ontogenesis and phylogeny of human in natural science curriculum 6. Human biology and health education in the natural science curriculum

Learning outcomes
|
Special didactics deals with theory a practice of education and training in natural subjects accordint to RPV ZV and in connection to Integrated natural framework. The framework is created with questions of special methods, form and teaching methods of natural history with regard to inter-subject relationships, to integration concept, to global education concept and to realization of environmental education in natural history.
Students accquire qualification according to defined objectives.

- min 50% active participation in seminars - handing over a set of botanical cards (15 pieces) accentuating the regional principle of science education - handing over a set of zoological cards (15 pieces) accentuating the regional principle of science education - practical knowledge of selected species of nature (plants, animals, minerals and rocks) - elaboration of 2 methodological sheets for selected areas of science, their didactic-factual analysis and defense during the colloquium - didactic test
