Course content
|
Concept of personality in psychology and its determination - overview, examples. The essence and development of ego, content analysis of personality - temperament, cognition, motivation, intelligence. Approaches to studying the personality. Dimensions of human nature. Questions of intelligence, emotions, stress and perception of meaning of life.

Learning outcomes
|
It is an introduction to the personality psychology studies. Contained are: Historical and philosophical sources of personality psychology, selected personality theories and their impact in approach to a man. Determining factors impacting forming an individual's personality, approaches to personality study. Personality dimensions, the structure and dynamics of a personality, personality contents and relation analysis. The methods of personality psychology and principles of their use in profession, the possibilities of developing extrospection and introspection skills. The issues of life fulfilment and handling hard situations in one's life.
Students will be eligible explanations of terms and definitions from the field of psychology
