Course content
Psychohygiene deals with maintaining, deepening or recovering the mental health and balance. The contemporary man is increasingly exposed to stress factors causing psychical as well as somatic disorders. More and more people die of diseases triggered just by of these factors. Sources of mental hygiene provide skills focusing on how to adequately cope with frequent emotional strains and avoid pertinent stressful events or situations brought about by daily life.

Learning outcomes
In this subject, students are introduced to terms such as stress, frustration, and conflict. Types of stress and factors impacting stress occurrence, especially in the educational environment, will be presented. Students will also be introduced to procedures for stress management. his subject introduces basic principles and terms of mental health and its applications in the area of education. Attention is given to the psychological issue of stress and its management in school environments.
Students will be eligible to explanations of terms,definitions and principles from the field of psychology of stress and mental hygiene.

Student performance, Seminar Work

Literature study, active participation at workshops, working up tasks according to teacher's requirements.
