Course content
|
Psychohygiene deals with maintaining, deepening or recovering the mental health and balance. The contemporary Man is exposed increasingly to stress factors causing psychical as well as somatic disorders. More and more people die of diseases triggered just by such factors. Sources of mental hygiene provide skills focusing on how to cope adequately with often emotional strains and avoid pertinent stressful events or situations brought about by daily life.

Learning outcomes
|
In this subject, students are introduced to terms such as stress, frustration, and conflict. Types of stress and factors impacting stress occurrence, especially in the educational environment, will be presented. Students will also be introduced to procedures for stress management. his subject introduces basic principles and terms of mental health and its applications in the area of education. Attention is given to the psychological issue of stress and its management in school environments.
Students will be eligible explanations of terms and definitions from the field of psychology

Seminar Work
Literature study, active participation in seminars, working up tasks according to teacher's requirements.
