Course content
Pedagogical psychology is presented in the structure of basic topics being important for school conditions and the profession of a teacher. The discipline content is constituted by the following themes which can be developed into various directions (subject of pedagogical psychology, methods, psychology of motivation, psychology of emotion, psychology of learning, psychology of education, psychology of subject matters, brush-up, transfer, assessment and marking, etc.)

Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Methods of Written Work
  • Homework for Teaching - 10 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Exam - 10 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 6 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
This subject focuses on areas that may be utilized in schools or other educational institutions. It deals with basic aspects of the forms of learning (types of learning, transference, repetition, etc.), motivation, creativity, examination and grading, bullying, modifying pupils' behaviour. As part of the seminars, students will be able to practice assertivity and creativity techniques, as well as techniques for managing undesirable behaviour of pupils as well as the entire class. Emphasis will also be placed on how to have controlled discussions on given topics with children.
Students will understand the psychological patterns of the educational process, gain skills to optimize the educational process and increase its effectiveness.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of the basic psychological disciplines, especially general and developmental psychology.

Mark

Literature study, active participation in seminars, working up tasks according to teacher's requirements.
