Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to achieve basic knowledge on human motor control and functional mechanisms for physical activity characterized as the motor abilities and motor skills. Another aim of the course is to acquire the competency for the preparation and administration of the test methods and interpretation of test results in the area of the motor abilities and skills assessment. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
Upon completion of the course the student is able to explain: - the functional principle of human motor abilities and motor skills, - the developmental milestones of motor skills and changes in motor abilities during human development. - Select, prepare, administer and evaluate selected tests of motor abilities/skills and interpret the results of assessment.
