Course content
1. Historical development of the historical parts of the lands of the Czech Crown (Bohemia, Moravia, Silesia, Lusatia 2. Control, manor, autority, bureaucracy (short theoretical introduction to the problem of administration), 3. The system of the patrimonial manor (court-, castle-, municipal administration), 4. Establishing the estate society (land- and country- parliaments and judicial courts), 5. The administration in the perion of the monarchy of Habsburgs - the way to the bureaucratization 6. The enlightenmental absolutism and the way to the democratization, 7. Administrative system through the period of the Czechoslovak republic between two world wars. 8. Administration in the period of Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia 9. Administration system in the comunist Czechoslovakia.

Learning outcomes
The subject is focused on the development of the public administration and the administrative institions in the historical lands of the Czech crown. The subject describes the main lines of its development from the patrimonial administration in middle age, through the establishing the reginal nobility administration to the present time bureaucracy.
After the finishing the subject the student will by able: - to identify the main period of the public administration development, - to chacterize the system of the public administration in this periods, - to explain the regional differencies of the administration in the main parts of the Lands of the Czech Crown, - to describe the development of the key types of the administration (state administration, public administration, municipal administration, judicial administration, finantial administration, ecclesiastical administration).

Passing the subject does not depend on other subjects.

Assessment methods and criteria
Dialog, Seminar Work

Active taking part on the lessons. Making the final work focused on the theme: Development of the choosen institution of the public administration (it historical roots). Discusion about the final work.
