Course content
Basic concepts and theories. Personality social worker. Methods of Social Work, their phasing. Social work with individuals and skupinou.Sociální work focused on selected target groups

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 30 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 4 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 40 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course deals with theories of social work, explains the nature, objectives and importance of social work, discusses the types of social work and approaches are applied. Attention is devoted to the social worker, its competence, professionalism, as well as a social worker relationship with the client, issues of ethics of social work, helping professions, including the risks of burnout
