1) August Comte and the beginning of positivism 2) Marx' critique of capitalism and the alienation of man 3) Émile Durkheim and sociologismus 4) Georg Simmel and the Theory of Social forms 5) Max Weber's Sociological theories 6) George Herbert Mead, Charles Horton Cooley, Herbert Blummer and the Symbolic interactionism 7) Alfred Schütz and the Phenomenological sociology 8) Talcott Parsons, Robert King Merton and the Structural functionalism 9) The conflict theory in the works of Lewis A. Coser, Randall Collins and Ralf Dahrendorf 10) Erving Goffman and the dramaturgy 11) Harold Garfinkel and the Ethnomethodology 12) Peter Berger, Thomas Luckmann and the Social Construction of the reality
