Course content
Basic principles for organizing children's and youth's residencies. Principles for preparing a similar residential program. Camp games.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Homework for Teaching - 20 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 10 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 40 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
After passing this subject the students should know the main regulations that affect children's and youth's residencies, basic principles for organizing events that involve residency, principles for preparing a similar residential program, how to plan and execute these and other types of residential programs for children and youth, including their organization and contents, the parameters of camp games, how to design and implement them.
Students will acquire and consolidate competence to work in the educational practice.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledges of didactics, leisure education and methodology of games.

Student performance

The output of internship at a children?s summer camp will consist of a report about this internship, in the extent of at least five pages.
