Learning outcomes

Ability to analyze creation of different types of regimes in post WWII Europe (parliamentary democracy, authoritarian and totalitarian regimes) and ability to apply skills and knowledges from the course for the period of 20th century. Application of political science methods (e.g. comparative method) when analyzing political and party systems. Ability to create connections among domestic policy issues and international relations in the given era. Ability of critical analysis of advanced academic literature in Czech and English.
Prerequisites
General knowledge of the European development in 19th century. Basic knowledge of the history of 20th century.

Student performance, Didactic Test, Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio

compulsory participation in seminars (2 absences at max.) paper based on the rules given in the course syllabus comprehensive knowledge of seminar readings for seminars and the term test comprehensive knowledge of assigned books for the term test and the final test excellent orientation in the topics of the course is expected during the final state examination
